Current conditions and forecasts are requested from external weather services through APIs. Data can include temperature, feels-like temperature, humidity, wind, gusts, precipitation, rain probability, cloud cover and hourly and daily forecasts.
Radar
The radar section uses data from the Italian Civil Protection Department when available. The base map is provided by OpenStreetMap and its contributors.
Automatic bulletin
The bulletin on location pages is generated automatically from available data. It is a summary and is not a forecast manually written by a meteorologist.
Alerts
Displayed alerts come from the weather provider and are normalised to improve readability and relevance. Como Lake Weather does not replace official bulletins from Civil Protection, Regione Lombardia or other competent authorities.
